Deputy Commissioner Muzaffar Sial distributed 26 motorcycles among local field staff

Mandi Bahauddin (Sher Gondal) : Deputy Commissioner Muzaffar Sial has distributed 26 motorcycles among local field staff of the livestock department. He handed over keys of the motorbikes at a ceremony held at his office the other day. Livestock department officers were present.

Addressing the ceremony, the DC said 100% livestock field staff had been provided motorbikes and this was the completion last phase of the program aimed at bringing white revolution in the country. He said and hoped that with provision of motorbikes to field staff, the farmers would get all facilities at their doorsteps.

He said it is duty of field and technical staff to inculcate awareness in farmers to ensure better animal health and breed improvement. Livestock farming serves as a driving force for food security and sustainable development, he added and asserted that all stakeholders should focus on improving health of animals and their breeding for increased output.
