Lahore : Punjab University has awarded five PhD degrees to the scholars in which Rabia Hijjab D/o Ilyas Ahmed Siddiqui in the subject of Urdu after approval of her thesis entitled “Dr. Suhal Ahmad Khan (Hayaat aur Adabi Khidmaat)”, Faiza Butt D/o Muhammad Latif Butt in the subject of Urdu after approval of her thesis entitled “Lingual Research in Urdu”, Sameera Hassan D/o Mian Muhammad Hassan in the subject of Molecular Biology after approval of her thesis entitled “Cellular Characterization, Cloning & Expression of Universal Stress Protein Gene (GUSP1) in Cotton and Its Role in Drought Tolerance”, Sara Tariq D/o Muhammad Ibrahim Tariq in the subject of Urdu after approval of her thesis entitled “Urdu Novel Main Jagirdarana aur Sarmaya Darana Nizam ky Mazahir” and Sajjad Sidique S/o Muhammad Sidique in the subject of Molecular Biology after approval of his thesis entitled “Development of Oligonucleotide Microarray to Study Drought Tolerance in Cotton”.
