Secretary Health directs SIMS administration to observe a hand washing week

Lahore : Secretary Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education, Najam Ahmed Shah presided over an important meeting in Services Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS).

Principal Prof. Dr. Hamid Mehmood Butt, Faculty Members, MS Services Hospital Dr. Salahudin, Zahir Abbas Malik, Dr. Haq Nawaz Bharwana and administrative doctors of services hospital were present on the occasion. Important decisions were taken regarding making functional the newly constructed multistory building of OPD, provision of human resource and streamlining the rush of patients visiting out door at services hospital.

Secretary Najam Ahmed Shah gave necessary directions to the doctors and nurses of all the departments of outdoor regarding sitting arrangements of patients, electronic Q-metric system for minimizing waiting time and introduction of token system.

The decisions were also made regarding training of the staff and improving janitorial services.

Secretary Health directed to observe a hand washing week in the hospital and ensuring provision of liquid soap and cleanliness of washrooms.
