Shahbaz Sharif is zero before Nawaz Sharif : Ch Shujaat Hussain

Lahore : PML-Q President and former Prime Minister Ch Shujaat Hussain has said that elections are of no use without electoral reforms, National Action Plan has not been implemented, era for reconciliatory politics has gone by, all details about Kargil operation were in the knowledge of Mian Nawaz Sharif who is now Foreign Minister of Pakistan as well.

Talking to the media, he said that no alliance of the opposition in the national election will benefit Mian Nawaz Sharif.

Emphasizing on the electoral reforms, Ch Shujat Hussain said that he has also asked Imran Khan to convene the All Parties Conference (APC) but he did not agree.He said that elections are of no use without electoral reforms, it will be beneficial if time frame is seriously put otherwise not.

In reply to a question he said that the era for reconciliatory politics has gone by. About NAP he said that it has not been completely successful, however, reason for this is inefficiency of the provinces.

Regarding performance of Punjab government, Ch Shujaat Hussain said that Nawaz Sharif should regard Shahbaz Sharif not as brother but as the chief minister. He also said this that Shahbaz Sharif is zero before Nawaz Sharif.

About the past, Ch Shujat Hussain said that he had arranged first meeting of Iftikhar Chaudhry with Pervez Musharraf. He said that he had also got Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali made the prime minister. About Kargil operation, he said that all details in about it were in the know of Mian Nawaz Sharif. About the foreign policy of the government, the former prime minister said that Mian Nawaz Sharif is also presently Foreign Minister of Pakistan also whereas about setting up of the military courts he termed this as a right step.
