Outgoing Chinese Consul General, Yu Boren met Punjab Chief Minister

Lahore : Outgoing Chinese Consul General, Yu Boren met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, today. The Chief Minister paid rich tributes to the services of Yu Boren during his appointment at Lahore. He said that role of Yu Boren is exemplary in enhancing Pak-China relations who worked very hard for the promotion of bilateral economic cooperation. Cooperation by Yu Boren for Orange Line Metro Train project along with CPEC Projects is highly valuable who set new standards for the promotion of Pak-China ties, he added. The Chief Minister said that the services of Yu Boren for transforming Chinese relations to economic cooperation will be remembered forever. Shehbaz Sharif said that we will miss Yu Boren and added that his good wishes are with him and he will live in our hearts forever. Talking to the Chief Minister, the outgoing Chinese Consul General said that Shehbaz Sharif fully supported him during his appointment and love, affection and sincerity displayed by him is precious asset of his life. He said that Shehbaz Sharif played an active and vibrant role for promoting Pak-China ties on strong foundations. He said we are lucky that China has a sincere friend like Shehbaz Sharif and both the countries are linked in strong brotherly relations. He said Punjab government under the leadership of Shehbaz Sharif has displayed outstanding performance in different sectors. Yu Boren said that he is witness to untiring hard work of Shehbaz Sharif and unprecedented progress of the province. He said that development projects are being completed transparently and speedily in Punjab. The speed with which CPEC projects have been forwarded is unprecedented, he added. He thanked Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Punjab government on cooperation in setting up of Chinese Consulate in Lahore. Yu Boren said that he cannot forget two years spent in Punjab and he is going back with pleasant memories. Sincerity, love and cooperation of the people of Pakistan especially Punjab will always be remembered, he added. Later, Yu Boren left Lahore for China and he was seen off by Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif who presented a bouquet to Yu Boren.
