KFC & Saver Foods Rawalpindi fined for using expires oil , poor cleanliness

Lahore : DG Food Authority Noor ul Ameen Mangal accompanied by Minister for Food Bilal Yasin imposed a fine of two lakh rupees to KFC on using expired oil and a fine of five lakh rupees to Saver Foods on poor cleanliness arrangements and issued a warning for improvement.

Earlier, they inaugurated office of Punjab Food Authority in Rawalpindi.

Nishtar Town team imposed a fine of Rs. 2500 each to Meezan Hotel and Zain Hotel, four thousand rupees to Anjam Hotel while seven thousand rupees to Fiaz Hotel respectively in Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Estate.

Shalimar Town team imposed a fine of Rs. 6500 to Butt Sweets Shalimar Town and four thousand rupees to Shahab Sweets on Shalimar Road. Allama Iqbal Town team sealed Masha Allah Bakery in Manga Mandi on using waste material for making biscuits while sealed Pak Food and Yasin Bakery on using expired items.

Gulberg Town team imposed a fine of Rs. 2500 to Al-Rehman Restaurant and Naan Shop and wasted expired items on the spot and imposed a fine of Rs. 4000 to Shainshahi Baryani on non traceability of raw material in Faisal Town.

Punjab Food Authority while taking action in Gujranwala imposed a fine of Rs. 5000 to Al-Madina Restaurant Nandipur Town on poor physical condition of workers, open drainage, open dustbin, wearing jewelry by workers during preparation of items and dirtiness washing area while Rs. 3000 to Hot Cakes on not installing insect killer, non-presence of expiry date on items and poor cleanliness arrangements.
