The fire fighters saved RS 10 million material from burning in Mandi Bahauddin

Mandi Bahauddin (Sher Gondal) : Fire erupted in spare parts shop in spare parts and wielding market Islam Street on Wednesday in the main city.

The street was narrow and there was great rush and congestion of customers. However on information, TMA fire fighters and rescue team 1122 reached the place with fire extinguishing equipment and controlled the fire before its further spreading.

DCO Muzaffar Sial appreciated the fire fighters and Rescue team members for their quick response and controlling the fire before causing more damage.

According to the store owner the fire fighters saved his stores worth RS 10 million from burning. 20 Rescuers, 3 fire vehicles and 1 ambulance participates in the fire fighting operation under the supervision of DEO Gulfam and Engineer Imran Khan.

Meanwhile ; two rival groups who had come to Malakwal courts the other day opened indiscriminate fire on each other, near the court premises. As a result one Ibrar died on the spot while Adeel, Zahid and Riaz sustained injuries. In the meanwhile police reached and arrested the accused with arms red handed.

The police moved the dead body to Malakwal Hospital for postmortem, as well as the injured for medical treatment. After registering FIR against 6 accused, police is busy in investigation.

The rival groups had come to courts in a cross case registered against them a month ago for fighting each other, police said.
