150th’s celebrations of Lahore High Court will be commenced from 1st November

Lahore : One and half century’s celebrations of Lahore High Court will be commenced from 1^st November instantly.

While apprising details in a meeting held under the chairmanship of District and Sessions Judge, Sargodha Muhammad Abdul Nasir, it was told that media awareness drive, cricket matches, judicial seminar, visit of students of various schools, one special night with judicial staff, awareness walk and some other programmes have be inducted to make the event commendable.

Meeting was participated among others by Additional Sessions Judge, Farzana Shehzad Khan, Senior Civil Judge, Muzaffar Nawaz Malik, DCO Danish Afzal, DPO, Sohail Ch. Director Information, Rauf Ahmed, Deputy Director Public Relations, Sharafat Hussain, XEN Building, President Sargodha, DSP Legal.

It was told that  responsibilities have been given to organize the celebration with fervor, zeal and befitting manner. Celebrations would be carried on throughout the whole month of November.

A 5-Member Organizing Committee has been constituted comprising on Additional District and Sessions Judge Atiq-ur-Rehman Bhinder, Additional Sessions Judge Farzana Shehzad Khan, Abu Bakar Siddique Bhatti and Mujahid Ahmed Sher Dil Cheema, Senior Civil Judge, Muzaffar Nawaz Malik. It has been decided that media would be briefed about the detailed schedule of celebrations on 1^st November.

It has been told that an important event of the celebrations would be held at MBA Hall, University of Sargodha on 12 November. It has also been apprised that a cricket match would be played between Sargodha Bar and District Judiciary teams 4^th November while another cricket match would also be competed amongst the judiciary teams of Khushab and Sargodha on 6^th November. The district level final match will be played on 10^th November. The winners of local level tournament will be participated in quarter final on13^th November at Lahore whereas semi-final and final of the tape ball Cricket tournament would be played on 20^th and 27^th instant respectively.

During celebrations, Children touring will also be arranged and the students of various schools would be given opportunity to visualize the justice system in District Judicial complex. A seminar of an immense importance bearing topic “supremacy of law and common man” would be held on 12^th November, 2016 which would be expected to attend by Garrison and Base Commanders, Commissioner, RPO and some other divisional and district officers of different departments.  An evening with judicial staff will also be arranged on 17^th November.
