Lahore : Director General Sports Punjab Zulfiqar Ahmed Ghuman Tuesday reviewed the progress of all the ongoing ports projects of Nishtar park Sports Complex and issued directives for the early completion of all the schemes.
He also directed to equip the sporting areas with modern facilities. On Tuesday he visited the international standard swimming pool and gymnasium hall and inspected the progress of work at the venues. Director admin Anis Sheikh, director sports Hafeez Bhatti, deputy director admin Tariq Wattoo, assistant director sports Waqas Akbar, and some other officials were also present there to evaluate work.
Ghuman not only reviewed work but also inspected the standard of the material used in the construction of swimming pool and gymnasium hall. He directed the contractors to use the best available technology in the facilities. He visited all the sections of both the facilities and issued directives about the work, conditions and installation of top standard equipment so that the players could meet the international standards.
