Mandi Bahauddin (Sher Gondal) : Electioneering for LHCBA Lahore elections 2017 – 2018 has intensified and candidates for President, General Secretary, Vice President and Finance Secretary are touring districts and tehsils that fall in jurisdiction of Lahore High Court Lahore.
On Monday, as a part of election campaign Sardar Khurram Latif Khosa who is contesting for president seat, visited Mandi Bahauddin, Phalia and Malakwal and met lawyers at their chambers for vote and support. He was accompanied by his supporter lawyers as well.
While talking to lawyers he said if elected he would strongly support setting up High Court Benches at each division headquarters, a long outstanding demand of lawyers, and would also get 10% quota for lawyers’ children in schools and colleges run under arrangement Auqaf Department.
He told lawyers he had already been working for promotion of welfare of legal fraternity and in this respect he got a hospital opened near District Courts Lahore, when he was member Punjab Bar Council. This hospital is providing medical cover to lawyers free of cost. Lawyers appreciated efforts of Khosa and assured him their support.
