Punjab administration is busy to make arrangements for Jashn-e-Azadi

Lahore : Arrangements are being made for observing Jashn-e-Azadi in a befitting manner throughout the province.

Speech contests, seminars, walks and competitions of different games will be held at tehsil and district level.

DCO Narowal Rafaqat Ali Niswana presided over a meeting to give final shape to arrangements in district Narowal.

The process of Jashn-e-Azadi celebrations will regularly start on August 6 throughout the district and will continue throughout the week besides different sports, walks, seminars, speech contests will be held and flag will be hoisted at government buildings besides Chiraghan will be held.

Schedule of four-day badminton tournament and one-day basketball competitions being held in connection with Jashn-e-Azadi celebrations at district sports office Bhakkar,

according to which badminton competitions will be held on August 5 at Sports Gymnasium, while basket ball  competition will be held on August 7. Sports competitions have been started in connection with Jashn-e-Azadi celebrations in Hafizabad.

On first day, an exhibition football match was played which was won by young fighter club Ram Ky Chatha. The competitions of football, hockey, badminton, kabaddi, wrestling and other games will be continued up to 30 August.
