Lahore : Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Chairman’s advisor Dr Yasmin Rashid has said the incumbent PML-N government has become senseless towards people as it is not even feeling the pain of those, whose children have been kidnapped. Instead of taking practical and stringent steps, the leadership is busy in constituting committees, she regretted.
The incumbent rulers are proving every passing day that mega projects like metro train and commissions were dear to them than the masses and their worries, she said. Stating that change in government has become inevitable, she stressed that the rulers should look after the masses’ concerns and get ready for their accountability.
Talking to party workers here on Sunday, Dr Yasmin Rashid said the Punjab government and police had restrained themselves to taking notices and constituting committees in the wake of ever-increasing incidents of kidnapping of children in Lahore and other cities across the province. “The kidnappers are become fearless because of inaction on the part of government and police,” she said.
Dr Yasmin said that it was the prime responsibility of the government to protect lives and property of people but they had completely failed on this front leaving masses frightened. Stating that there seemed nothing like government in the province, she stressed that the rulers must take effective measures to save lives and property of people.
