Chief Secretary Sindh Muhammad Siddique Memon has written a letter to Punjab government for acquiring software of Human Resource Management System, Complaint System, Police Station Record Management System, DIG Operations System and Criminal Record Office System used by Punjab police.

Chairman PITB Dr. Umar Saif during a meeting at Arfa Karim Software Technology Park told that on the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, Punjab Information Technology Board and Punjab police will extend complete cooperation to Sindh government.

He said that Chief Minister has expressed pleasure over the success of Punjab police software and said that provision of assistance for the protection of life and property of all citizens of Pakistan is our duty. He said that Punjab government will provide free of cost information technology services for Sindh police.

Dr. Umar Saif told that on the directions of Chief Minister, Hajj Management Information System has been prepared for the facility of pilgrims. Federal government is getting school monitoring system for 422 federal schools. Gilgit Baltistan government and Sindh government will benefit from e-learning programme, he added. He said that Punjab Information Technology Board has also provided assistance for KPK police. He said that Balochistan and KPK are also launching e-vaccination programme of Punjab government in their provinces.

PITB is also preparing complaint cell and document tracking system for Motorway Police and Federal Environment Ministry, he added.
