Lahore: On the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Provincial Minister for Food Bilal Yasin visited residence of Amjad Farid Sabri in Karachi and condoled with the family over his death. He also prayed for the departed soul.
The Minister also conveyed special condolence message on behalf of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.
Sarwar Sabri, Azmat Sabri, elder brothers of Amjad Sabri besides three sons of the late and near and dear ones were also present. Bilal Yasin assured the family of Amjad Sabri that his sacrifice will not go waste and Punjab government is ready to extend all out help for taking the criminals to task.
The members of the family told about the martyrdom of Amjad Sabri and the situation after his death and said that besides economic problem, the family is also facing security threats. Later, talking to media, the Minister said Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has sent him by giving the message that Punjab and federal government is with the children of Shaheed Amjad Farid Sabri and said that the way Amjad Sabri has laid down his life is a clear message for anti-state elements that nation is united for eliminating terrorism.
Earlier, Bilal Yasin inquired after Abdul Sattar Edhi in a local hospital of Karachi and presented a bouquet and good wishes on behalf of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. He also paid tributes to invaluable welfare activities of Abdul Sattar Edhi for the humanity and prayed for his early recovery.
Balqees Edhi thanked Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif for his good wishes and sending Bilal Yasin from Punjab to inquire after Abdul Sattar Edhi. Speaking in a light mood, Abdul Sattar Edhi said that he wants to do a lot. He also expressed good wishes for Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.
