Provincial budget for the year 2016-17 is development oriented : Hameeda Waheed

Lahore : Provincial Minister for Women Development Hameeda Waheed ud Din has said that provincial budget for the year 2016-17 is development oriented while no sector of public welfare has been neglected.

In a statement, the Minister said that concrete policies and practical measures have been introduced in the budget for increasing growth rate, evolving a people-friendly system of tax recovery, implementation of social welfare projects, women development and improvement of health, communication and important administrative sectors. She said that far-reaching steps have been envisaged in the budget for resolving problems of small cultivators and betterment of farming community. Hameeda Waheed ud Din said that new provincial budget is balanced and people-friendly.
