Punjab Civil Secretariat Employees Association arranged a reception in the honor of ACS Punjab Shamail Kh

Lahore: Punjab Civil Secretariat Employees Association arranged a reception in the honor of Additional Chief Secretary Punjab Shamail Ahmed Khawaja and other senior officers S&GAD at Civil Secretariat Lahore for paying gratitude on the promotion of 80 officials of class four to grade 11 today.

Addressing on the occasion, Shamail Ahmed Khawaja expressed happiness over this step of low salaried government officials and termed it as a good tradition. He said that there were legal complexities in promoting 20 percent matric pass employees of class four which have been removed due to human-friendly attitude of Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif. He said he is in favor that genuine rights of government employees should be granted before protest on roads by them. He told that government has to bear additional expenses of 44 crore rupees annually under the head of promotion of 80 officials of class four to grade 11.

Shamail Ahmed Khawaja announced a sub committee comprising Secretary Finance, Secretary Services and Secretary Regulations to consider genuine demands of all the organizations of government employees.

President Punjab Civil Secretariat Employees Association Rana Muhammad Nisar, General Secretary Ch. Ghulam Ghaus, Senior Vice President Raja Suhail Ahmed and Vice President Bakhtiyar Ahmed also thanked Shamail Ahmed Khawaja and said that government employees are pleased over rapid promotion process. They demanded that retired government officers and officials should be given group insurance amount during their life after five years of retirement, as this is their own amount deposited by them.
