Siraj ul Haq leads Ghaibana Namaz e Janaza for Maulana Mutiur rahman Nizami

Lahore : Ghaibana Namaz e Janaza for the Jamaat e Islami Bangladesh chief Maulana Mutiur rahman Nizami was offered at different cities all over Pakistan and was attended by thousands of people from different walks of life besides JI workers.Siraj ul Haq

Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq, who led the funeral prayer in the Punjab capital, deplored that the Pakistan government had not made any serious effort to avert the execution of Maulana Nizami. He said that he had several meetings with the Prime Minister, the Interior Minister and other high ups and impressed upon them that the Hasina Wajid government in Dhaka was victimizing its political opponents under New Delhi’s pressure and the only crime of the JI leaders in Bangladesh was that they had tried to keep Pakistan united. However, he said, that the rulers in Islamabad remained totally indifferent.

Sirajul Haq said that he had also called on the ambassadors of Saudi Arabia, Iran, Yemen and some other countries and raised the issue with them and they had promised to extend their support if Pakistan took the lead.

The JI chief said that Hasina Wajid regime was executing her prominent opponents at the behest of Indian Prime Minister Modi, whereas Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was greeting Modi at his home and presenting him gifts.

Sirajul Haq said that the National Assembly’s resolution condemning Maulana Nizami’s execution but after his martyrdom won’t make any difference and added that if the rulers had made any move earlier, this could have been of any use.

The JI chief paid tributes to Turkish President for his efforts in this regard and also expressed his gratitude to the rulers of Qatar and Amman on this score.

He said that lakhs of people in Bangladesh had offered the Ghaibana Namaz e Janaza of Maulana Nizami in different towns and cities thus paying him homage.

Jamaat al Dawa central leader Hafiz Abdur Rehman Makki, while addressing the gathering, termed Maulana Muti ur Rahman Nizami’s martyrdom as a great tragedy for the Ummah. He said that the JI has been offering huge sacrifices for Pakistan’s ideology and territorial integrity. He said that the  Chief Justice of Bangladesh Supreme Court was a biased Hindu who was victimizing pro- Pakistan leaders there.

JI Deputy Chief Hafiz Muhammad Idrees said that nothing good was expected from the rulers who were agents of the US and anti Islam forces.

Dr Farid Ahmed Piracha said that Hasina Wajid’s father Sheikh Mujib who had invited Indian army to support his move to disintegrate Pakistan. On the other hand, Maulana Nizami and his colleagues were patriotic Pakistanis who wanted to save their country. He deplored that Pakistani rulers were not ready to utter a word for those offering their lives for this country.

Namaz e Janaza was also offered at Karachi, Faisalabad and Islamabad and large number of people joined the prayer.
