The 25th Urs ceremony of Hazrat Wasif Ali Wasif commenced

Lahore: The 25^th Urs of renowned Sufi Saint and intellectual Hazrat Wasif Ali Wasif commenced today with laying of a floral wreath at the mazar of Hazrat Wasif Ali Wasif at Graveyard Miani Sahib, Bahawalpur Road, Lahore. The wreath was laid by former Provincial Minister Sardar Nasurullah Khan Dreshak and Muhammad Bilal Sheikh accompanied by a larger number of devotees. Special prayers were offered for the solidarity of the country.

On May 01, a seminar will be held at Bukhari Auditorium Government College University with regard to teachings and personality of Hazrat Wasif Ali Wasif.

The seminar will be chaired by Justice (R) Mian Nazir Akhtar while former Judge Supreme Court Shahid Siddiqui will be the chief guest. The speakers include Mohtarma Siddiqua Begum, Zulfiqar Tabish, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Shahid and Dr. Shahid Akthar Shaheen.
