Newly trained recruits Pass out at Pakistan Rangers Academy,Mandi Bahauddin

Mandi Bahauddin (Sher Gondal):Passing out parade of 1406 newly trained recruits was held here Thursday morning at Pakistan Rangers Academy.10 Corps Commander Lt Gen Malak Zafar Iqbal was the chief guest. On his arrival, smartly turned out contingents of the recruits presented him the guard of honor.

After reviewing the parade, the chief guest addressed the recruits. Lauding high standard of their training he said rangers were defending eastern border of the country vigilantly.

Besides, the rangers were deployed on security duties to protect CPEC and installations and fighting terrorists across the country to maintain peace. He said extremists and terrorists being in minority were posing a great challenge to our political and social system and killing innocent citizens and students.

He said ongoing Zarb e Azb operation had already eliminated safe heavens of terrorists and they were on the run now. He said security agencies with the support of army and rangers would uproot them soon. He said work on PCEC project was in progress and army assisted by rangers would complete it within scheduled time.

Once completed, the PCEC will boost national economy and create job opportunities for the youth. He congratulated recruits on completion of their basic military training and advised them to continue mastering fighting skills after joining their units. He distributed prizes among recruits winning top positions in deferent military subjects.

DG Rangers Punjab Umer Farooq Barki and Commandant Rangers Academy Colonel Nadeem Aslam were present on the occasion. Corps Commander also appreciated the efforts of training staff of Pakistan Rangers Academy who imparted the best possible training to the young soldiers.

The ceremony was attended by large numbers of civil, military, notables from civil society and family members of the recruits.
