Extracurricular activities polish hidden creative skills of the students: Dr. Rukhsana David

KE host a reception ceremony held in honor of students who played World T20 World CupLahore: Principal Kinnaird College for Women Dr. Rukhsana David has said that extracurricular activities play a significant role in personality and character building of students and polish their hidden creative skills in good manner.

The outshine performance of Kinnaird College students in Pakistan Women Cricket Team of ICC T20 world cup is really admirable by all means.

She expressed these views in a reception ceremony held in honor of students who performed well during recently played World T20 World Cup in India under the umbrella of International Cricket Council. It is pertinent to mention here that Kinnaird College four students named Anam Amin, Sidra Amin, Iram Javed and Aliya Riaz  not only participated in T20 World Cup but also played well and won the title of ‘Player of The Match’ in all three matches of tournament.

Anam Amin was titled twice against West Indies and Bangladesh while Sidra Amin was declared ‘Player of the Match’ against the host team India and scored fifty plus runs. Moreover, International Cricket Council (ICC) has selected Anam Amin in its World T20 Women Dream Team by keeping in view of her outshine performance while not a single player  from Pakistan’s Men team could select.

By admiring the remarkable performance and day and night work hard of girl’s students and sports officials, Principal Kinnaird College for Women Dr. Rukhsana David advised them to highlight the name of Pakistan in future also. At this occasion, Director Sports Nosheen Haneef, Coach Irfan Ullah Khan, sports faculty including Madam Ammara, Noor, Rimsha, Hina, and girls’ players were also present.
