Balochistan wins opening match of Pakistan Cup 2016

Lahore: Balochistan has won the first match of Pakistan Cup 2016 by 12 runs against Punjab played at Faisalabad.Balochistan eleven made 215 scores in 46.2 overs with Shahid Yousaf 49, Umar Akmal 47, Babar Azam 41, Muhammad Hassan 21. Punjab eleven’s Shoaib Malik bowled well and got 2 wickets for 32 runs in his spell, Amir Yamin 2-36, Ehsan Adil 2-37, Zulfiqar Babar 2-42.

In reply, Punjab could scored 203 in 49 overs, Muhammad Rizwan made 39 with 5x4s on 52 balls, Ammad Butt 33*, 3x4s, 46 balls, Asad Shafiq 33,  Azhar Ali 3-24, Umar Gul 3-43, Junaid Khan 2-28),Ammad Butt 2-30 did not allow their opponent to set for clean end.

Azhar Ali (Balochistan) declared Man of the match for his outstanding bowling.
