Lahore: Patron Islamabad Chamber of Small Traders Shahid Rasheed Butt on Sunday said Panama papers is a conspiracy aimed at reversing economic gains ensured by incumbent government. He said that differences over judicial commission among political parties is unfortunate as it will fan political instability which will hurt operation against terrorists and the economic corridor.
Expressing concern over the situation, Shahid Rasheed Butt said that the controversy is pushing country towards political and economic instability which is the desire of enemies of Pakistan.
The country is facing very serious challenges on internal and external front therefore traders should think twice before joining agitation as it will have very negative impact on overall situation.
The real issue is not the resignation of prime minister but the interests of the state and that of masses which are supreme, he said.
Shahid Rasheed Butt said that Nawaz Sharif was the first Prime Minister in the history of Pakistan, who with open heart took a very bold stance in this regard though formation of a judicial commission to probe allegations. He said that in the past, different members of Sharif family had also faced such kinds of allegations, which proved baseless and false, and this time, they would succeed to prove itself innocent.
The PML-N leadership, he added, had always maintained a clear divide between politics and their business.
