Wildlife team arrest a cop while stealing six Urial lambs in police van

Lahore: The raiding team constituted by Director General Wildlife & Parks Punjab Khalid Ayaz Khan headed by Deputy Director Salt Range Rana Shahbaz has foiled an attempt to steal six Urial lambs from Western Jhelum community based organization.

According to details, a Police Hawaldar was taking six Urial lambs stolen from Western Jhelum community based organization in an official vehicle when the wildlife team headed by Deputy Director Salt Range Rana Shehbaz arrested him.

The accused was presented in the court of Special Judicial Magistrate which issued orders for registration of a case against the Hawaldar at Jalalpur police station Jhelum and to confiscate the Urial lambs and to hand them over to Wildlife Department.

Urial lambs will be shifted to Lahore Zoo this evening.
