MQM Rabita Committee condemns torture on its workers

MQMLahore: The Coordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement strongly condemned the torture and attack on MQM’s workers and their houses by Haqiqi men at Lines Area.

In a statement, the Coordination Committee said that the Haqiqi terrorists attacked on MQM’s UC office at Jutt Lines on late Sunday night and set it fire, while on Monday evening they MQM’s elections rally and tortured its workers at Central Jacob Lines. It said that the terrorists attacked MQM’s Lines Area UC office and used lethal weapons and vandalized the entire setup in front of the Rangers and police.

The Committee said that the Haqiqi workers attacked, tortured on MQM’s workers, their family members and attacked their houses on Monday evening to late night. It said that the series of attacks on MQM workers and their houses unfolded the conspiracy behind all such incidents. It said that the peace of the city was deliberately being ruined to disturb the by-elections and to stop people to cast their votes.

The Coordination Committee said that despite giving proper information about the Haqiqi men the Law Enforcement Agencies, Rangers and police not yet taken any appropriate action against the criminals. It demanded the Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah to immediately take notice against the miscreants and should arrest them prior to letting them damage more.
