Lahore: The wrestling and squash trials for Quaid-i-Azam Inter-Provincial Youth Games 2016 started on Wednesday.
Sports Board Punjab (SBP) is holding trials to select various Punjab teams for the participation in Quaid-i-Azam Inter-Provincial Youth Games scheduled to be staged in Islamabad Sports Complex from April 4 to 7, 2016.
Director General Sports Punjab Usman Anwar, in his message to Punjab probables, encouraged the players and advised them to improve their performance and win titles in their respective games. “Sports Board Punjab is providing all facilities to talented players and now it’s up to them to show their sports prowess and win laurels for the country,” he added.
The men’s wrestling trials were held at Nishtar Park Sports Complex Gymnasium Hall where 10 wrestlers were given complete opportunity to demonstrate their potential while 15 players (men and women) participated in the squash trials at Punjab Squash Complex.
