First National Research Conference on Business Management-2016 held at PAF-KIET

Lahore: First National Research Conference on Business Management-2016 held at Pakistan Air Force – Karachi Institute of Economics & Technology,Karachi First National Research Conference on Business Management-2016 (NRCBM-16) was organized by the College of Management Sciences at Pakistan Air Force – Karachi Institute of Economics & Technology( PAF-KIET ), Karachi from 6th to 7th March, 2016.

Theme of the Conference was “Sharing Knowledge” for promoting research activity and culture
in the academia. Out of the total papers received for this conference,seventy two (72) papers were accepted by the technical committee for presentation in this Conference, which was an overwhelming response for this event. These papers were presented in ten (10) concurrent sessions; each session was chaired by an expert from the academic field of renowned institutions.

The opening session on the first day commenced with a panel discussion on “Prospects and Problems of PhD in Pakistan” by eminent PhD scholars from various universities. The highlight of this Conference
was the three research papers submissions from China, which were presented, live from Southwest Jiaotong University, Chengdu China through Skype.

Air Vice Marshal (Ret’d) Tubrez Asif, President PAF-KIET, praised the efforts put in by the organizing team headed by Mr. Adnan Anwar,Director – College of Management Sciences. He also commended the
highly innovative research presented by the participants.
