Motorway Police return lost money to its owner

Motorway Police return lost money to its ownerLahore: National Highways & Motorway Police set an example of honesty and have returned Two Lac Rupees (Rs 200, 000) to original heir and uphold the core values of Honesty, Courtesy and rendering help to road users. This was stated by Spokesman Motorway Police Syed Imran Ahmed Shah in hand out issued on Tuesday.

The Motorway Police officers Patrol Officers Riaz Ahmad and Faisal Masood of Beat 16 were found Two Lac Rupees on highway near Chicha Watni.  Similarly, a citizen namely Farhan Ashraf r/o Sahiwal informed Motorway Police informed Help Line 130 about the loss of his valuable bag.  After hectic efforts Motorway Police traced out the owner of the said valuables and were handed over after completion of formalities.

DIG Mirza Faran Baig appreciated the efforts of the officer of Motorway Police and granted them commendation certificates and cash reward for their excellent performance. He stressed the officers to uphold the core values of department mainly honesty, courtesy and help now these principles imprinted on our hearts. He also congratulated the officers for setting an example of honesty.
