The rulers have paved the way for the end of their rule: Senator Sirajul Haq

Siraj ul HaqLahore: Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq, has said that the rulers had paved the way for the end of their rule by shedding the blood of PIA employees.

Addressing the PIA employees staging sit- in at Islamabad airport, he said that the PIA was the symbol of the country abroad and an ambassador for the country. He said that rulers would have to account for the blood of the PIA employees and announced that the JI would not abandon the PIA employees in their hour of trial.

Sirajul Haq said that the JI did not believe in politics of dead bodies. However, he said, the JI fully shared the grief and anguish of the PIA employees and the families of the martyrs. He said the government had lathi charged the employees instead of giving them the right to protest.

The JI chief said that the institutions privatized so far had only harmed the national economy and added that the JI did not want the PIA to be handed over to a contractor or a money maker.

He said the JI wanted the workers share in major national institutions, He said that instead of selling out the institutions, the rulers should plan their rehabilitation.

He said that the problem lay with the whole system and not institutions, and said that the masses would have to rise against the corrupt.

Meanwhile; Ameer, Jamaat e Islami Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq, will lead the Kashmir Solidarity Rally at Muzaffarabad, on February 5.

According to the programme released by the JI headquarters, the Muzaffarabad rally would be preceded by the formation of a chain of human hands at the Kohala bridge at 8.30. JI Azad Kashmir chief, Abdur Rashid Turabi and JI senior leader Prof. Ibrahim Khan, would also join the JI chief.

The JI Secretary General, Liaqat Baloch, would lead the Rally at Lahore. JI deputy chief Mian Muhammad Aslam and JI MNA Sahibzada Tariqullah would lead the rally at Islamabad. JI Punjab chief Mian Maqsood Ahmed and  JI leader from Khyber P, Muzaffar Saeed will lead the rally at Faisalabad. The Multan rally would be led by Hafiz Muhammad Idrees and Azhar Iqbal Hasan. The Gujranwala rally would be headed by Dr Farid Ahmed Piracha. Rallies would also be held at Sialkot, Peshawar, Hyderabad, Sukkur and Quetta.
