PUTD win 119th Inter-Collegiate Athletic Championship

Lahore: Punjab University Teaching Department has clinched first position in 119^th Inter-Collegiate Athletic Championship concluded here on Thursday. As many as 17 teams participated in the competition in which 20 events were held.

Akhwan Science College Burkey obtained 2^nd while Government College Jhang obtained 3^rd position by securing 100 and 49 marks respectively.

Punjab University Teaching Department’s Farhan Haider was declared Best Athlete with 28 points. PU Director Sports Shamsa Hashmi, Secretary Pakistan Athletic Federation Salman Iqbal Butt, Director Students Affairs Shahid Gul and others participated in prize distribution ceremony held at New Campus ground.
