Punjab UniversityLahore: Punjab University has awarded 8 PhD degrees to the scholars in which Bintul Khurshid D/o Akhtar Hussain Jaffery in the subject of Education after approval of her thesis entitled “Relationship Between Emotional Intelligence and Principals’ Performance in Public Sector Colleges of Punjab”, Naveed Elahi S/o Sh. Hameed Elahi in the subject of Sociology after approval of his thesis entitled “An Existential Threat” Terrorism in Pakistan with Special Reference to Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP)”, Agung Nugroho Puspito S/o Totok Ponari in the subject of Molecular Biology after approval of his thesis entitled “Genetic Improvement of Cotton for Herbicide and Bollworm Tolerance”,Muhammad Amjad Khan S/o Muhammad Afzal Khan in the subject of Zoology after approval of his thesis entitled “Epidemiology, Haematology and Therapy of Large Strongyles Infestation in Thoroughbred Horses”, Tanzeela Riaz D/o Ch. Riaz Ahmad in the subject of Zoology after approval of her thesis entitled “Biochemical Basis of Development of Resistance in Phosphine Exposed Populations of Trogoderma Granarium from Punjab: Role of Esterases and Microsomal Enzymes”, Umera Dogar D/o Hakim Ali Dogar in the subject of Botany after approval of her thesis entitled “Palynological Characterization of the Tobra Formation (Early Permian) Salt Range, Pakistan”, Muhammad Ishfaq S/o Karam Din in the subject of Botany after approval of his thesis entitled “Molecular and Biochemical Characterization of Sordaria Fimicola” and Fatima Waqi D/o Kh.
