Chief Minister Balochistan Sanaullah Zehri calls on Shahbaz Sharif

Lahore: Chief Minister Balochistan Sanaullah Zehri met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, here today. Matters of mutual interest, political situation and the measures for promotion of inter-provincial harmony were discussed in the meeting.

Chief Minister Punjab congratulated Sanaullah Zehri on taking over the office of Chief Minister Balochistan and said that the people of Balochistan are patriotic and hardworking. He expressed the hope that Sanaullah Zehri will utilize all his abilities and energies for the welfare of Baloch people.

Shahbaz Sharif offered all out cooperation on behalf of Punjab government for the implementation of public welfare projects in Balochistan and said that cooperation of Punjab government will always remain available to Balochistan government in this regard. He said that collective efforts are needed for the progress and prosperity of the country and collective approach will have to be adopted in the interest of the country.

The Chief Minister said that boy and girl students of Sindh, KPK, Balochistan, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan have also been included in the educational programmes of Punjab which is resulting in promotion of national solidarity, harmony and brotherhood. He said that need for national unity is more than ever now.

Shahbaz Sharif said that all out efforts are being made under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif for eliminating terrorism and resolving energy crisis. He said that practical measures have been taken during last two and a half years for the progress and prosperity of the country.

The Chief Minister said that the work carried out on energy projects during the tenure of present government is unprecedented in the history of the country and Pakistan will be able to overcome terrorism and energy shortage.

Chief Minister Balochistan Sanaullah Zehri while speaking on the occasion said that Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has taken practical and commendable measures for the promotion of inter-provincial harmony and brotherhood. He said that the way, Shahbaz Sharif is serving the people of Punjab is unprecedented and his performance is a role model for Balochistan and other provinces.

He said that Punjab has made remarkable progress under the leadership of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Balochistan government will benefit from the experience of Punjab government in the development of education, health, infrastructure, transport and other sectors. He said that welfare of people of Balochistan is his mission and he will spare no effort for its achievement. Senator Agha Shahbaz Khan Durrani was also present on the occasion.
