The ASA expressed the hope that many outstanding problems faced by the faculty, most of which had remained unresolved for many years, would be amicably resolved in the tenure of the current vice chancellor. They also demanded greater resource allocation for GCU from the Government of the Punjab. The faculty members were unanimous in saying that institutions like GCU require leaders who are allowed to work freely in a conducive environment.
