All Pakistan CNG Association lauds government for resuming supply to CNG outlets in Punjab

Ghiyas ParachaLahore: The All Pakistan CNG Association (APCNGA) on Monday lauded government for resuming supply to CNG outlets in Punjab after a gas of seven years giving it a new lease of life.

The decision has saved tens of thousands of jobs and Rs 300 billion investment in that sector for which Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Petroleum Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi deserve credit, said Ghiyas Paracha, central leader of APCNGA. He said that the decision was taken on the back of ample supply which proves the success of LNG policy which is helping people despite some troubles.

Ghiyas Paracha said that APCNGA is also trying to import LNG for CNG filling stations which will reduce price, ensure continued availability and settle instability. He said that flight of dollar and erosion of rupee is a conspiracy hatched by few to benefit few on the cost of 200 million people. It has increased price of every imported item including imported gas.

Demanding action against those involved in the artificial price hike of dollar, he said that it should be brought back to level of Rs 100.

The leader of the CNG sector said that Ogra has issued the LNG pricing notification which should be implemented by gas utilities so that benefit could reach masses through adjustment of bills.
