IG Motorway Police Saleem Bhatti attends closing ceremony of 5th Annual Sports Festival

Lahore: A sound mind is found in sound body and sports play a pivotal role in aligning human mind in right direction and help the forces to be active said Inspector General National Highways & Motorway Police  Muhammed Saleem Bhatti while addressing the closing ceremony of NH&MP 5^th Annual Sports Festival held at Sheikhupura.

The teams from North, South, Central, Motorway, West Zones, Training College and Headquarters participated in the sports festival. In eight days long festival Cricket, Tug of War, Volleyball, Table Tennis, and BadmBadminton competitions were held.

On this occasion Inspector General National Highways & Motorway Police Muhammed Saleem Bhatti said that NH&MP is known not only in Pakistan but all over the world as courteous, honest and helping force. People from all segment of society appreciate its honesty. Inspector General further said that the slogans of ‘Honest is our faith’, ‘Courteous dealing is our recognition’ and ‘Help to people is our pride’ are imprinted upon the minds of all the officers of NH&MP. These qualities which are our asset and weapon really distinguish this department from all others and we will safeguard it at every cost.

The Commandant Training College DIG Ashraf Zubair Sadiq said the sport activities has always creates healthy competition in organizations. He further asked the participants’ sports man spirit strengthen the abilities of players.

Inspector General NH&MP Muhammad Saleem Bhatti congratulated the winning teams and appreciated the efforts of Commandant Training College for organizing the sports festival. Inspector General further showed his commitment that NH&MP will continue to hold this annual event which has become an important feature of the department.
