PML-N MNAs,MPAs not to visit polling stations: Hamza Shahbaz

Hamza ShahbazLahore: Hamza Shahbaz MNA has asked the members National and Provincial Assembly of Pakistan Muslim League-N not to visit polling stations on November 19 for ensuring law & order in 12 districts in second phase of local bodies elections. He said that code of conduct should be observed strictly and avoid to take out processions, rallies and aerial firing while celebrating victory.

He said that life of every citizen is equally precious, therefore, PML-N workers should not become provocative and maintain law & order at every cost.

Hamza Shahbaz while addressing party office-bearers through video conferences regarding local bodies’ election in 12 districts on November 19 said that   special arrangements are being made for sensitive polling stations in various districts while control room will also be set up for immediate action on information of any emergent situation.

Hamza Shahbaz said that all Muslim League workers should display responsible attitude and help government institutions for maintaining peaceful atmosphere. He expressed the hope that PML-N will get excellent success in second phase.

He said that local bodies’ institutions will prove helpful in resolving basic problems at local level. He said that local bodies elections will also be helpful for the party in general elections of 2018. Hamza Shahbaz assured that power and funds will be provided to the elected representatives of local bodies for resolving problems and local bodies elections will also strengthen democratic system.

Aftab Ahmad Sheikh from Attock and Saira Afzal Tarar from Hafizabad gave briefing about the political and administrative situation of the districts whereas all participants assured Hamza Shahbaz of all possible cooperation in the second phase of local bodies elections. They also congratulated him on the thumping success of PML-N in the first phase of local bodies’ elections.
