An impressive passing out parade ceremony held at Pakistan Rangers Academy

Mandi Bahauddin(Sher Gondal) :  An impressive passing out parade ceremony of Rangers recruits was held here the other day at Pakistan Rangers Academy.

Deputy Director General Pakistan Rangers Punjab Brigadier Zahid Hussain, the chief guest on the occasion while addressing the parade congratulated the recruits for demonstrating excellent standard of drill movements. He said credit goes to training staff who within twenty one weeks short time trained the recruits as efficient soldiers.

He also offered his felicitation to parents of the passing out recruits for joining rangers and acquiring military training to defend homeland. Referring to ongoing war against terror he said “the internal and external challenges that Pakistan confronts today are indeed daunting and complex. I therefore, urge all of you to keep yourself abreast of emerging technologies, new age weapons and concepts of technology-driven warfare, on joining your units”

He said extremists and terrorist who are in minority desired to make hostage the whole nation and were great danger to peace in the country, He said Pakistan Rangers were supporting  armed forces and other security outfits to eliminate menace of terrorism and extremism and in due course of time our coordinated efforts would  wipe out this menace.

He said Pakistan-China economic corridor would change destiny of our nation. Pakistan rangers would be given responsibility to provide security for its safe construction. Earlier he reviewed the parade and awarded prizes to position winning recruits.

Commandant Muhammad Nadeem Aslam with other rangers’ officers received the chief guest on his arrival. The ceremony was witnessed by parents of the recruits, retired military offices, local civil officers and students.
