Lahore: Medical Superintendent Govt. Mian Munshi Hospital Dr. Muhammad Ameer has said that the hospital is providing free medicines in OPD to an average of 600 patients daily and absolutely free medical facilities are being provided in emergency ward where doctors remain on duty round the clock.
Highlighting the performance of the hospital, Dr. Muhammad Ameer said that emergency operation theater works round the clock where emergency operations are conducted. About the expansion of the hospital, he said that orthopedic operation theater has been completed at a cost of Rs.15 million whereas new machinery worth Rs.13.5 million has also been procured for the hospital. The MS further said that four-storey trauma center is also being constructed in the hospital and Govt. Munshi Hospital would become a model hospital in near future and will cater to medical needs not only of the people of suburb areas of Lahore but also of the adjacent cities.
