Governance is a national priority and not the priority of any personality or party:Ch Shujaat Hussain

Lahore: Deficit in the execution of the National Action Plan is an issue of governance as correctly pointed out during the recent meeting chaired by COAS, said PML president Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain while addressing a news conference in the vicinity of Sialkot.

He emphasized that governance is a national priority and not the priority of any personality or party.

Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain further stressed that bad governance is a threat to national security.

Therefore, he continued that good governance has to be common priority which cements civil-military relations and further strengthens the foundations of Pakistan.

Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain warned that vested interests want to deliberately and mischievously distort a pressing national issue creating unnecessary rifts.
