The students should make the best use of their time: Khalil Tahir Sandhu

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Minorities Affairs & Human Rights Khalil Tahir Sandhu has said that students should make the best use of their time and utilize all their energies for development and progress of the country.

He was addressing a reception hosted in honour of the students of Kinnaird College and FC College at FC College University. Rector FC College University James A Tebbe, Principal Kinnaird College for Women Dr. Rukhsana David, Dr. Peter, Col. Khaqan, Bishop of Lahore Irfan Jamil, Dr. Alexander John Malik besides a large number of teachers and students were present on the occasion.

Khalil Tahir Sandhu said that Christian community has made commendable efforts for the creation as well as progress of the country. He said that services of missionary institutions in education and health sectors have been acknowledged at every platform. He said that Punjab government has taken effective measures for the welfare and betterment of minorities which include allocation of five percent quota in jobs, setting up of Minorities Advisory Council, solution of problems in the registration of Marriage Act and other issues. He said that minorities will continue to serve the country as Pakistani citizens.
