Ambassador of Portugal Dr. Joao Paulo Sabido Costa visits Punjab University

Lahore: Ambassador of Portugal to Pakistan Dr. Joao Paulo Sabido Costa has returned to Punjab University and met with the Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Mujahid Kamran, Director External Linkages and Institute of Languages Incharge, Dr. Maria Isabel Maldonado at Vice Chancellor’s office.

Iftihkar Feroz, Honorary Consul of Portugal and Ms. Ana Maria Borges, Portuguese Lecturer at the Institute of Languages were also present on the occasion.

Dr. Sabido had previously stated that he was very happy to see the Institute of Languages’ efforts for the promotion of Portuguese and other languages.  He reiterated that the Institute of Languages is performing well and promotional activities should be undertaken so that more students take admission in Portuguese language since this activity can facilitate the students to obtain scholarships.
