Ali Jan Khan assumed the charge of Managing Director, PEF

Lahore: Ali Jan Khan has today assumed the charge of the post of Managing Director, Punjab Education Foundation. Belonging to the 28^th Common Training Program of the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS), he has served on different positions of importance including PSO to Chief Minister Punjab and as District Coordination Officer.

After assuming the charge of the post of MD PEF, Mr. Ali Jan was briefed about working and expansion plans of the Foundation in a meeting held at the head office with Chairman Engr. Qamar Ul Islam Raja in the chair.

While addressing the meeting, Mr. Khan said that PEF has an important role in education-promotion in the disfranchised segments of the society through its school partners.  He asked the program heads to strive for achieving organizational targets so that the 100 percent enrolment goal of the “Parho Punjab, Barho Punjab” could be fully achieved by the year 2018.

Earlier, the Chairman PEF formally welcomed the new Managing Director and hoped that his presence would help to further advance the mission of education-promotion at the grass roots.

Later, Ali Jan visited different departments and met with the staff.
