Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao and siraj ul haq expressed reservations over the route of CPEC

Lahore: Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq and Qaumi Watan Party leader and former Chief Minister, Khyber P, Aftab Ahmed  Khan Sherpao, have expressed their reservations over the route of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor, and stressed that the mega project should be equally beneficial for all the provinces.

The two leaders made their comments at a meeting at the residence of the QWP leader in  Charsada on Monday. They stressed that the route of the CPEC should not be changed in a manner that could harm the interests of the Khyber P. and Balochistan. They demanded that the backward areas of both these provinces must be provided maximum opportunities for development.

The two leaders also called for abolishing the colonial legacy FCR and merging the tribal areas into Khyber P or declaring these as a separate province.

They also discussed ways and means to improve the working of the Khyber P. government and for providing more facilities to the people there.
