PDMA dispatches relief goods to KPK for earthquake affectees

Lahore: The Spokesman of Provincial Disaster Management Authority has said that on the direction of Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, Punjab government has dispatched relief goods to KPK for earthquake affectees.

According to the details, relief items include ten thousand tents, ten thousand food hampers and ten thousand blankets whereas five trucks carrying five hundred flour bags of 20 kg each are being dispatched. He said that three medical teams comprising five medical officers, five paramedical staff and five nurses as well as one mobile hospital unit are also being sent to KPK.

The Spokesman said that 50 officials of Rescue 1122 are also being sent to KPK for further expediting relief activities. He said that the relief items would be handed over to KPK government on Tuesday October 27.
