Ch Brothers express grief & sorrow over the loss due to Earthquake

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Ch Shujat Hussain, senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi and Moonis Elahi have expressed grief and sorrow over large-scale life and property losses caused by severe earthquake in different parts of the country particularly in Khyber Pukhtoonkhwah and tribal areas and said our hearts are grieved over this tragedy and we equally share sorrow of the affected.

Ch Shujat Hussain has directed party’s Provincial President Khyber Pukhtoonkhwah Intekhab Khan Chamakni and Vice-President Ajmal Wazir that they should provide details about losses and required relief to party’s Secretary General Mushahid Hussain Sayed so that relief measures are undertaken at the party level.

Meanwhile, he has also directed PML workers to fully participate in the relief activities and work day and night in providing assistance to the affected people thus setting example of sacrifice and service like 2005.

He said that everyone is helpless in front of natural calamities particularly devastating calamity like earthquake which cannot be predicted.

Welcoming Army Chief General Raheel Sharif and the Air Chief orders for immediate rescue operations and relief measures in the quake hit areas, he said that our armed forces have always played grand role in rescuing the fellow countrymen in the natural calamities besides defending the motherland against internal and external enemies. He said that effects of massive devastation caused by severe earthquake in October 2005 were not over yet that the Nature has put the people in another test, may Almighty help us in every problem and end difficulties and problems.
