A PTI worker killed in a scuffle with PML-N workers at Yakki Gate

Lahore: A man Khurram Tariq has died in a scuffle between PML-N & PTI workers at Yakki Gate in the wee hours of Sunday night. Seven people got severe injuries during the rumble. PTI has claimed that the deceased was their worker and he was killed by the PML-N goons.

PTI Punjab organizer Ch Muhammad Sarwar,District Lahore organizer MNA Shafqat Mehmood and advisor to Chairman Aleem Khan reached at PS Yakki Gate to lodge FIR against the accused and some govt officials.

DIG Haider Ashraf and SP city have reached the police station to handle the worsening situation after the protest of PTI workers outside the PS Yakki Gate.

PTI Punjab organizer Ch Muhammad Sarwar has condemned the incident and alleged that Punjab Government has promulgated the rule of the jungle .Those who could not provide justice to the masses ,have no right to govern,he added.

He asked the voters to take revenge by stamping on bat on 31st of October.

Meanwhile;Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of the incident and sought report from CCPO Lahore. He directed authorities to take action against the culprits.
