PML-N government has broken all record of inflation :Chaudhary Muhammad Sarwar

Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Punjab organiser Chaudhary Muhammad Sarwar has said that corruption and looting of national wealth is akin to “terrorism” and asserts that those involved in this terrorism should not be pardoned.

Chaudhary Sarwar was addressing a public meeting as part of local government elections. PTI Punjab deputy organiser Omar Sarfraz Cheema, PTI Chairman’s political advisor Abdul Aleem Khan, PTI Punjab women wing president Saloni Bukhari and others were also present on the occasion.

He said that the government’s charging of some Rs11 billion in the name of gas surcharge was also an unforgivable crime. He said that the PML-N government has broken all record of inflation and joblessness.  He said that no other political party except PTI can establish a transparent and an accountable system in the country.

He urged the masses to vote for PTI and added that the party after coming into power will not disappoint them.

Chaudhary Sarwar said that the PML-N leaders had promised to solve all major issues of the masses during their 2013 general election campaign but after coming into power could not fulfil even a single promise. He said that the rulers were now exposed and the people now wanted to get rid of them as early as possible. He said that the ruling PML-N had committed that it will end load-shedding within six months but now is telling masses that it will end load-shedding by 2018. He said that the people know that these rulers will not be able to fulfil their promise of even 2018.

Chaudhary Sarwar said that the real objective of the local government elections is to devolve power to union councils’ level so that masses’ problems could be solved at their doorsteps. However, the Punjab government would not devolve powers to the local government representatives even after elections, he expressed his apprehension.

Omar Sarfraz Cheema said the PML-N had become a “Failed League” and now people had a golden opportunity to express their hatred against the ruling elite through the power of their votes and help win the PTI candidates. He said the PTI is the only political party, which is ready to solev people’s problems with complete honesty and dedication. He said the PTI and its workers are committed to serve the masses.
