These motorcycles were confiscated in the month of October as part of enforcement campaign `Quality helmet as a part and parcel of motorcycle riding` to endorse the use of quality helmets. This was stated by Spokesman NH&MP Syed Imran Ahmed Shah in a News Release issued on Thursday.

The objective of the enforcement campaign is to realize motorcycle riders that all helmets do not provide the same degree of head protection and the users must give priority to safety features while purchasing helmets. ‘Wearing a quality helmet and fastening it properly are the most effective road safety interventions known for motorcycle riders, said the Spokesman .

We look forward to continuing our strong cooperation with national and provincial stakeholders to achieve our common goal of saving lives on national highways. The campaign is part of broader efforts of the NH&MP to contribute to the achievement of the road safety to save lives. Wearing a helmet that meets quality standards can literally mean the difference between life and death, the Spokesman concluded.
