Punjab Police declares 12 districts as most sensitive

Inspector General of Police Punjab, Mushtaq Ahmad SukheraLahore: Keeping in view the consecutive monitoring of declared 12 districts as most sensitive, latest control room has been set up in CPO which will be directly commanded by the Inspector General of Police Punjab, Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera.

The Provincial Police Chief not only monitor all taken processions of these districts but he will also directly supervised the law and order situation. The declared sensitive districts are included Lahore, Rawalpindi, Jhang, Rahim Yar Khan, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Multan, D.G Khan, Bahawalnagar, Chakwal and Pakpattan.

While answering the questions of the media, IGP said that 1158 religious personalities will be banned to enter in various cities, 641 will remain under gag. He said that only today on 7th moharram 150267 security officials are performing the security duties whereas, on 9th moharram it will be 164302 and on 10th moharram 200658 officers and officials will perform the muharram duties.Inspector General of Police Punjab, Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera

In a question about the security of the prime minister of Pakistan, IGP said that it was the joint responsibility of the federal and provincial agencies which was handled appropriately. About the security of Hafiz Saeed, IGP added that all necessary measures have been adopted in this matter in this regard.
