Some political opponents are opposing the package which has exposed their lip service towards small farmers, she said, adding that the surplus wheat stock should be exported before arrival of new crop.

The bumper wheat crop would create problems for the government and farmers as a lot of surplus stock is already rotting in warehouses, she noted.
