CM Gilgit-Baltistan & Balochistan call on Shahbaz Sharif

Dr Abdul Maalik calls on CM PUNJAB 01Lahore:Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Chief Minister Balochistan Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch held a meeting here today in which matters of mutual interest, promotion of inter-provincial harmony and situation of the country was discussed.

Talking to Balochistan Chief Minister, Shahbaz Sharif said that there is a need for collective efforts for national progress and development. He said that Pakistan comprises four federating units and their equal development is essential for national prosperity. He said that people of all units of the country will have to work together for elimination of poverty, unemployment and ignorance besides economic stability and there is a greater need now for concentrated efforts for progress and development of the country.

The Chief Minister said that all political forces should work together for national progress and development and steering the country out of crises. He said that 18 crore people of Pakistan want elimination of political jugglery and are interested only in resolution of energy crisis, elimination of terrorism, poverty and other issues. He further said that there is a need to rise above mutual differences and move forward with the force of unity.

Shahbaz Sharif said that in view of this fact, Punjab government has also included students and people of other provinces in its educational and health programmes. He said that by including students of all units of Pakistan in its educational programme, Punjab has played an active role for promotion of national solidarity. He said that students of Balochistan, Khyebr Pakhtunkhawa, Sindh, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir have been included in Punjab Educational Endowment Fund, Laptop Scheme and study tours to foreign countries. He said that participation of boy and girl students of the whole country in the educational programmes of Punjab has promoted national unity and brotherhood and this process will continue in future as well.

Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch paid tributes to Chief Minister Punjab for the steps taken for the progress of the province and said that Shehbaz Sharif has worked in the real sense for development and prosperity of Punjab. He further said that Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif has also taken practical measures for the promotion of inter-provincial harmony and national unity. Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Hafiz Hafeez ur Rehman called on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, here today. Matters of mutual interest and other important matters were discussed during the meeting.

Speaking on the occasion, Shehbaz Sharif said that PML-N government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, has achieved many successes during two and a half years and socio-economic sector has considerably improved. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister, economy of the country has strengthened due to solid economic policies and foreign exchange reserves are touching record level in the history of the country.

The Chief Minister said that all out steps are also being taken for purging the country of the menace of terrorism and overcoming the problem of shortage of energy. He said that peaceful, bright and prosperous Pakistan is the agenda of Pakistan Muslim League-N and its mission of public service will change the destiny of the nation.

Special Assistant to Prime Minister Irfan Siddiqui met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, here today.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that all out measures are being taken for coping with the challenges of terrorism and shortage of energy. He said that projects worth billions of rupees for the provision of basic amenities to the common man are being completed speedily and transparently. He said that compared to 2013, Pakistan of 2015 is more peaceful and economically strong.

He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, the government of Pakistan Muslim League-N is paying special attention to the welfare of the people as it believes in serving the masses. He said that new records of public service will be set during next two and a half years.

The Chief Minister further said that enlightened people of Lahore have buried the allegations of so-called rigging by casting their votes in favour of PML-N candidate in NA-122. He said that the elements engaged in negative politics are not sincere to the country. He said that 18 crore people of Pakistan fully know who is serving them selflessly and who is engaged in politics of chaos.

The Chief Minister said that politics of sit-ins has caused a huge loss to the country. He said that the conspiracy hatched against the progress of the country in the form of sit-ins last years has been exposed. He said that the journey of progress and development has been started with new determination and commitment and the time lost due to sit-ins will be made up.
